Abstract
This article offers a praxeological reconstruction of economic theory from the temporal structure of human action. Its central thesis is that value does not arise from the physical properties of goods or from past production, but from the actor’s imputation from future ends to present means. On this basis, time preference, cost, capital, interest and price are examined as categories derived from the intertemporal coordination of individual plans. The paper distinguishes physical time from praxeological time, engages with the Austrian theory of capital and the literature on radical uncertainty, and clarifies that indirect production increases productivity only when means are entrepreneurially coordinated with valued future ends. The contribution of the article is to systematize economics as the science of human time oriented toward purposes.
